should you be taking a multivitamin?

I’ve taken a multivitamin for years just to “cover my nutritional bases”.  My diet is much healthier compared to ten years ago, but I’m still religious about taking my One-A-Day Men’s Health Formula vitamin.

New scientific research indicates I might be wasting my time and money taking a daily multivitamin. Prevention Magazine recently published an interesting multivitamin article and you can read an overview here.

The experts are still recommending we take an Omega-3 supplement if we’re not eating fish on a regular basis.  Women are still advised to take Vitamin-D and Calcium supplements during and after middle age.
